Collecting all kinds of news articles on the team season and arranging them in a scrapbook. The scrapbook is one of the Varsity player gifts. Start collecting the news articles and arranging them as soon as possible. The Scrapbook consisted of all the seasons news articles from all the local newspapers, Team Roster, Team/ individual pictures, captains, managers, coaches, trainer, Varsity cheerleaders squad picture. Game pictures from Union-Endicott scrimmage to the last game. Pictures from Pasta Dinner, Homecoming, Senior Night and fans etc. Their year T-shirt quote, the names of game captains and their Senior Bowl Jr. Plainsmen Team Picture etc.
Varsity Team Breakfast-
At least TWO PARENTS JUNIOR OR SENIOR volunteers, can be more, need to arrange this special event that is held in end of September for the Varsity players and coaches only. Responsible for setting a date, location, guest speaker/gift, invitations, donations of the food, cooks and servers.
Varsity Pasta Dinner-
Pasta dinners are at a different volunteer SENIOR players home before players go to watch game film at the High School. They will be held on Sundays after each Varsity HOME game. A Senior parent hosts and a Junior parent co-hosts the event. Everyone contributes to the meal. These dinners are a lot of fun for the players and everyone who is involved! The Host and Co-Host provide the main course.
Your responsibility will be to take care of VolunteerSpot, to send out sign-ups for volunteers for HOST, people to bring food, snacks, drinks and dessert etc. Also to make sure that an email with the host address and directions go out to the players by that week’s game.

Modified/Freshman/JV/Varsity Liaison- Coordinator of their team communication (players, parents, coaches, game roster, addresses/emails, apparel, raffle/fundraising activities, etc.). Work in the concession stand at their games. Selling program books at the Varsity home games. Take care the Modified/Freshman/JV Banquet (food & coaches gifts).

Creation of a Varsity high-light film, usually set to music, made from clips of actual game films from the season. May also include candid film shots, short interviews, and film clips from practices and scrimmages
This committee position works with the apparel provider to coordinate the submission of all apparel orders, delivery of apparel items and sales at all of the home Varsity games.
At least three/four parents are needed to run the concession stand. A committee will be formed to help support these parents. The primary responsibility is ordering product and ensuring the concession stand is fully operational for all home games. The team liasons are responsible for getting parents of each team to volunteer to work the concession stand and clean up following each home game.
Program Book Design and Layout & AD Sales-
Selling of ads, arrangement and printing the program book. Need to start by March selling the ads and the program book printed to sell by the first game. The Program Book consists of Varsity Team Roster, Team Picture/individual pictures, captains, managers, coaches/bio’s, trainer and all team game schedules w/ homecoming-senior night dates. The past Varsity years records, a message from Coach Steuerwald, code of conduct and a message from the Booster Club. Team pictures of Modified, Freshman, JV, all levels of the cheerleader’s squad, dance team & color guard pictures.
Junior parents help with this event. Arranging a photographer and flowers, plus organizing all the seniors and their parents to be on the field before the football game by alphabetic order (football players, cheerleaders, dance team and color guard).
Reserve seating at the Varsity games for Varsity player’s families. Selling and arranging reserved seating by the first Varsity home game.
Monroe-Woodbury/John Jay Scrimmage-
Arrange for lunch after the scrimmage for both teams players and coaches. Junior or Senior parent.
Need at least 5 Senior parent volunteers to arrange the Annual Football Banquet that is held at the end of the season. Responsible for setting up a date, location, invitations/attendance, Menu, programs for the dinner and awards, guest speaker, and decorations. The Board takes care of the gifts.
